Entidades beneficiadas:
NEXT STOP BELÉM:
In 2025, the Jaguar Parade will arrive in Belém, bringing art and reflection on the Amazon to the city’s streets. In the heart of a state rich in history and culture, our jaguars will blend into the urban and natural landscape, highlighting the importance of biodiversity.
In a year when the world’s eyes are on Belém, the city will become a central point in discussions about the Amazon and its role in the future of the planet. Nothing could be more meaningful than celebrating this edition in such an iconic location!
WHY BELÉM:
Belém is the living essence of the Amazon. Its culture pulsates in every corner, from Ver-o-Peso, in rhythms like carimbó and lambada, to places like Mangal das Garças and Estação das Docas.
With COP30 approaching, the city gains even more prominence. More than 60,000 people from around the world are expected to arrive to discuss the future of the climate and the forest. Belém is home to one of the largest jaguar populations in Brazil, reinforcing the natural connection between the city and our cause.
After editions in São Paulo, New York,
Rio de Janeiro, Paris, and Cali, we chose Belém for its unique identity, which reflects the Jaguar Parade’s mission:
connecting art, culture, and preservation.
URBAN ART
FOR EVERYONE
Art has the power to transform everyday life, and when it spreads through the streets, it makes the city more vibrant and accessible. The Jaguar Parade arrives in Belém to bring free art to everyone, transforming squares, parks, and avenues into veritable open-air galleries.
Besides bringing color to the city, our event creates new connections between artists and the public, sparking reflection and emotion. Democratizing art broadens its impact, allowing more people to be touched by its message. With each sculpture, we promote culture, environmental awareness, and support for organizations dedicated to preservation.

AMAZONIAN AND
PARÁ ART IN FOCUS:
CURATED BY
VÂNIA LEAL MACHADO
In this edition, the Jaguar Parade in Belém delves even deeper into the essence of the Amazon by inviting curator Vânia Leal Machado from Pará to lead the artistic curation of the project, co-curated by Débora Oliveira.
A specialist in Art History and a master’s degree in Communication, Vânia is a leading figure in the appreciation of artistic production from the North region, having worked on projects such as Arte Pará.
Her curation reinforces the Jaguar Parade’s commitment to local representation, highlighting the creative power of Amazonian artists and their connection to the territory and biodiversity.
With a sensitive focus on the region’s culture, Vânia proposes a new encounter between jaguars and the city—an experience guided by visual narratives, ancestral traditions, and resistance.

What is the
Jaguar Parade?
The Jaguar Parade is an artistic movement with a powerful purpose: to unite art and awareness to promote the preservation of the jaguar and its natural habitats. Through open-air cultural exhibitions, the Jaguar Parade brings art and purpose to key landmarks and iconic settings in the cities it passes through.
The jaguar sculptures, created by talented artists, transform these spaces into veritable open-air galleries, sparking curiosity, inspiring reflection, and fostering dialogue about the importance of conservation.
At the end of each exhibition, the sculptures are auctioned, and 100% of the net proceeds go to jaguar conservation projects, helping to ensure a safer future for this vital species and the ecosystems of which it is a part.
THE CAUSE
The jaguar is the largest feline in the Americas and historically inhabited a vast region, from the southern United States to northern Argentina. Today, it is officially extinct in the United States and has disappeared from many areas where it was once common, including large regions of northeastern, southeastern, and southern Brazil.
Currently, the most significant populations are concentrated in the Amazon, the Pantanal, isolated areas of the Cerrado and the Atlantic Forest, and also in regions of Mexico, which is home to one of the largest remaining populations of the species outside of Brazil.
Because it is at the top of the food chain and depends on vast preserved areas for survival, the jaguar is especially vulnerable to threats such as deforestation, habitat fragmentation, illegal hunting, and environmental degradation.
