The Cause – Jaguar Parade

ABOUT OUR CAUSE

Beneficiary entities:

The largest feline
in the Americas
needs help!

In Brazil, home to the largest population of jaguars in the world, the Amazon serves as the species’ main stronghold, sheltering around 60% of the individuals estimated in the country. Although obtaining precise data remains challenging due to the jaguar’s elusive nature and the vastness of the biome, recent estimates indicate that the region may host between 10,000 and 17,000 individuals.

Within the Legal Amazon, the state of Pará stands out not only for its vast territory but also for its extensive areas of preserved forest, which provide critical habitat for the species.

However, Pará also faces intense deforestation pressures, making jaguar conservation in the region a constant and urgent challenge. Collecting and analyzing more accurate data is essential to guide effective conservation strategies and safeguard these vital populations.

Protecting the jaguar also means protecting vital ecosystems such as tropical forests, rivers and wetlands that sustain countless other species, including our own.

ART AS AN
AGENT OF CHANGE

Jaguar Parade goes beyond art: we are a platform for awareness that transforms scientific information into emotion and collective engagement.
We bring the cause of jaguar conservation to the streets of major cities such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte, and also to the world, with editions in Paris, New York and Colombia.

Our mission is to grow even further, expanding this network of art, education and impact to new countries, new audiences and new possibilities for preservation.

By connecting artists, experts, brands and the public, Jaguar Parade turns each sculpture into a meeting point between art and activism. It is a movement that inspires care, awakens awareness and invites everyone to take part in protecting this symbol of biodiversity.

PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS:

With each edition of Jaguar Parade, we join forces with organizations that are on the front lines of jaguar and biodiversity conservation. More than beneficiaries of the sculpture auction, these institutions are true strategic partners who contribute technical knowledge, updated data and meaningful content that enriches the exhibition experience.

We call these allies Jaguar Experts — essential voices that help carry the message of Jaguar Parade beyond art, awakening public awareness about the urgent need to preserve the species and the ecosystems where it lives.

Together, we connect art, education and social-environmental impact. We strengthen the support network for this cause and expand the reach of conservation efforts across the country and beyond.
