The world’s largest and successful public art event in aid of jaguar conservation comes to New York City!<\/p>\n

And besides having jaguar sculptures all over the city, the Jaguar Parade NYC will also have an NFT auction.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It means that artists from all over the world will create and submit art projects that will be minted and auctioned as NFTs.<\/p>\n

Jaguar Parade’s NFT Auction will generate funds for the Implementing Organizations: WWF, WCS, Panthera, and The Lion’s Share.<\/em><\/p>\n

NFTs AND SUSTAINABILITY<\/strong>
<\/em><\/strong>We are aware of the energy consumed to generate and transact NFTs. We believe, however, that we can use cryptoarts as a powerful tool to create awareness and resources to defend our planet.<\/p>\n

At this first moment, we will neutralize the impacts with carbon offsetting. We are evaluating the most sustainable technologies to use in favor of the project, generating broad benefits for the cause.<\/p>\n

Who will select the artworks?<\/strong>
The Jaguar Parade and the Implementing Organizations will create a committee to evaluate and select the artworks.<\/p>\n

How many digital artworks will be selected?<\/strong>
The committee will carefully select 40 artworks.<\/p>\n

Where will the NFTs be auctioned?
<\/strong>Opensea.<\/p>\n

When will the drops take place?
<\/strong>On key dates during 2022, such as World Wildlife Day (March 03) and Earth Day (April 22)<\/p>\n

How many artworks <\/strong>can I submit?
Up to two artworks.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the percentage?<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

40% for the cause
<\/b><\/span>15% for the artist
<\/span>15% for Jaguar Parade
<\/span>30% Development and Promotion

Who will mint and pay for the gas fees?
<\/strong>It’s totally on us.<\/span><\/p>\n

What Kind of Art May I Submit?<\/strong>
Image, Video, Audio, or 3D Model.<\/span><\/p>\n

And What About the File Types?
File types supported: JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG, MP4, WEBM, MP3, WAV, OGG, GLB, GLTF. Max size: 100 MB<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the maximum size of the file?<\/strong>
100MB<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

What will be the minimum sale price at the auction?<\/strong><\/div>\n
It will be the same for all of them: 0.02 ETH, but the sky is the limit \ud83d\ude42<\/div>\n

It will generate funds for the Jaguar Parade and the Implementing Organizations to keep the fight for the jaguars and our environment.<\/div>\n

Artists should remember that the audience will be broad-based and of all ages, and designs should be appropriate for public display. Designs that are religious, political, or sexual in nature will not be accepted. Additionally, neither corporate logos nor advertising is allowed. As outlined below, designs will be evaluated to make sure they meet these guidelines. Jaguar Parade may reject any design that, in its sole discretion, does not adhere to these guidelines.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n


Rights\/Entitlements <\/strong><\/div>\n

By submitting your application, you confirm that:
1. You are the original creator of your design.
2. You have not copied anyone else’s original work.
3. Your design does not infringe on anyone else’s intellectual property rights (for example, trademark, copyrights, trade dress, design patent).
4. If anyone else has contributed to your design, you’ll need to get a signed, written agreement from that person assigning all of their rights in their contribution to you and attach the files.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
