Art’s most significant purpose is to be a vehicle for debates and awareness. It can be a very intimate dialogue between the creator and the viewer. Jaguar Parade has taken that idea to a global level this year, bringing the wildest art exhibit to two of the world’s concrete jungles: São Paulo and New York.
More than 30 talented national and international artists painted magnificent jaguar sculptures with original aesthetic proposals, innovative design techniques, and relevant messages about wildlife conservation.
If you are an art collector and want to support this cause, now is the time: the online auction of the sculptures has begun. This is the perfect opportunity to pick your favorite jaguar, place the highest bid and buy an exclusive sculpture from the biggest Jaguar Parade edition so far.
100% of the net proceeds will be donated to jaguar conservation projects led by por Panthera, WWF, WCS, The Lion's Share and Onçafari.

Onçafari was created to promote environmental conservation and contribute to the socioeconomic development of the regions in which it operates through ecotourism and scientific studies. The entity works to preserve biodiversity in several Brazilian biomes, with emphasis on jaguars and maned wolves.

The auction is open for online bids until October 20th, when the Live Auction takes place from 7 pm at the Explorers Club in NYC, and still, the online audience can dispute with the people in the room.
How do I place bids in the Jaguar Parade 2022?
The auction is online and takes place on the digital platform https://event.gives/jaguarparade
The interested party must register on the website above and access the catalog with all artworks to place bids.
Is the online auction be open to the public?
Anyone over 18 can register on the auction page https://event.gives/jaguarparade, bid, and participate.
What is the opening bid for each artwork?
The opening bid amount is U$5,000.00 (Five thousand dollars) for each sculpture, with minimum increments of U$500.
Bid Increments:
1st bid - buyer A: U$5,000.00
2nd bid - buyer B: U$5,500.00 or more
What is the final amount to be paid by the bidder?
The final amount to be paid is the winning bid amount.
How do I pay if my bid is the winner?
When registering for the Event.Gives, you’ll be asked for credit card details, and as soon your bidding is confirmed as the winner on October 20th after the Live Auction, the amount will be debited from your credit card.
Can I pay in cash or by bank transfer?
We accept bank transfers.
Do I pay taxes over my bid price?
Any amount over U$5,000.00 is tax deductible.
I don’t want to bid, but can I donate?
Yes, you will be able to donate, and all donations are also tax deductible.
I'm a sponsor of one of the works, can I buy them?
Sponsors can participate in the online auction by applying the same rules to other participants - register as an individual on the platform, add credit card informations and place their bids.
I placed a bid online. Can I also attend the Live Auction?
Due to the venue's capacity, we have a limited guest number, but everyone who places a bid in the online auction is invited to the Live Auction.
Can I bid online during the Live Auction?
Absolutely! The online and live auctions will happen simultaneously and all bids made on the auction webpage will be considered for all guests at the Live Auction, so everyone has a chance to win. The online bidders can follow the live auction in real-time at https://event.gives/jaguarparade from 7 pm on October 20th.
Are shipping and packaging included in the final price?
All sculptures will be packed in bubble wrapping, but the shipping costs will be the buyer's sole responsibility.

What is the deadline for the sculpture pick-up?
The pick up at our warehouse must be done until November 05th. After your payment is processed, the Jaguar Parade organizers will get in contact to follow up with each winning buyer.

How long will it take for NGOs to receive the funds generated by auction?
The maximum period for transfer is 30 working days.
What happens if a work is not sold?
If the work does not receive any bid, that is, it is not sold, it returns to the Jaguar Parade collection of artworks for future exhibitions. In this case, there will be no transfer to the indicated NGO, as it will be re-sponsored in the future and may benefit a new NGO in an upcoming event.
Will I have any receipts for donations?
All winning buyers will have an official Declaration of Donation with the total amount of auctioned lots from Panthera, the NGO responsible for funding the conservational projects and other supporting organizations and participants in the Jaguar Parade NYC 2022.
What about the Certificate of Authenticity of the artwork?
The Jaguar Parade organizers will offer each winning buyer a Digital Certificate of Authenticity.
