What is the Jaguar Parade?
Jaguar Parade® is an artistic movement with a powerful purpose: preserving biodiversity and maintaining the balance of ecosystems. The jaguar, the largest feline in the Americas, is a keystone species and an indicator of environmental health, essential to maintaining the balance of natural ecosystems.
Through open-air cultural exhibitions, Jaguar Parade brings art and purpose to iconic locations in cities around the world. The sculptures, created by artists, transform these spaces into open-air galleries, sparking curiosity and encouraging reflection on conservation.
At the end of each exhibition, the artworks are auctioned, with proceeds supporting projects dedicated to jaguar conservation and the biodiversity it represents.
Jaguar Parade sculptures have already been seen by more than 30 million people in person. Across digital platforms and the press, the project has surpassed 336 million views and generated BRL 77 million in earned media. More than achievements already reached, these numbers reflect a movement in full expansion — growing with every edition, engaging new audiences and amplifying its impact.

Jaguar Parade goes beyond art: we are an awareness platform that transforms scientific knowledge into emotion and collective engagement. We bring the cause of jaguar conservation to the streets of major cities such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Belo Horizonte, and also to the world, with editions in Paris, New York, and Colombia.
Our mission is to grow even further: expanding this network of art, education, and impact to new countries, new audiences, and new possibilities for conservation.
By bringing together artists, experts, brands, and the public, Jaguar Parade transforms each sculpture into a meeting point between art and activism. A movement that inspires care, raises awareness, and invites everyone to become part of the effort to protect this icon of biodiversity.
The Cause
The jaguar (Panthera onca) is the largest feline in the Americas and a symbol of power and balance. Habitat loss, wildfires, deforestation, illegal hunting, human-wildlife conflicts, and climate change threaten not only the species itself, but the entire biodiversity that depends on it.
Why the jaguar? The jaguar is an “umbrella species”. By protecting jaguars, we also preserve vast areas of forests and countless other species of fauna and flora. It is a guardian of our ecosystems. As an apex predator that requires large, well-preserved territories to survive, the jaguar is deeply affected by the environmental pressures threatening our planet, resulting in a severe decline in its population.
Protecting the jaguar also means protecting vital ecosystems such as tropical forests, rivers, and wetlands — essential to the survival of countless other species, including humans.
